”You don’t have permission to use this tag”
Solution: Request access to the tag from your profile or the article editor
- Tags must be assigned by an editor before you can use them
”Cannot submit article - missing required fields”
Solution: Check that all required fields are filled:
- Title
- Slug
- Excerpt
- Content
- Tags (at least one)
- Author
”Article is read-only”
Reason: Article is published
Solution:
- If submitted or in review: Click “Save Draft” to edit, then resubmit when ready
- If needs revision: Make changes and resubmit
- If published: Contact an editor for changes (published articles cannot be edited by writers)
“Can’t find the tag I need”
Solution:
- Request the tag to be created (contact an editor)
- Or use the closest available tag
- Check if the tag exists under a different name
”My application is still pending”
Solution:
- Applications are reviewed manually by editors
- Wait for email notification
- Check your application status in the admin dashboard
- Contact support if it’s been more than a week
