Editors are trusted members of the Eureka News community who help maintain content quality while enabling fast publication of breaking news when needed.

What Editors Can Do

Editors have all the capabilities of writers, plus additional responsibilities: As an editor, you can do everything a writer can do:
  • ✅ Create and submit articles for review
  • ✅ Request access to tags/topics
  • ✅ Manage your profile and author page
  • ✅ View your published articles and stats
Plus, editors have additional capabilities:
  • Breaking News Publishing: Publish time-sensitive updates that go live immediately
  • Article Review: Review, approve, request revisions, or reject writer submissions
  • Tag Management: Assign tags to writers and manage tag permissions
  • Content Curation: Help organize and prioritize content across the platform
  • Edit Articles: You may Edit articles that use tags you have been assigned (in addition to editing your own articles)
